Unlike the other destinations, Lagos is one of the places to enjoy without a rush, whether it is hiking on the wooden trails for sweeping views of the Atlantic or admiring the views of the lighthouse and the coast from the cliffs of Ponta de Piedade.

Walk in the walled old town lined with whitewashed buildings. Visit Igreja de Santo António, an ornate 18th-century church and the beautiful castle Castelo dos Governadores.
